Do you remember those t-shirts from decades past that said something like, "My parents went to Las Vegas and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"? They were quite the rage back in the day.

Well, Brett Schklar went to Vegas for CES, and all he brought back for Colorado AI News readers was a video of a t-shirt-folding robot that appeared to be having a lousy day.
It took the robot a full two minutes to fold a particular t-shirt because one of its pincer-like hands repeatedly found it impossible to grab the edge of the shirt. Well, we all have tough days, but this robot eventually completed its task and then – as robots do – eagerly went to work on a new pile of shirts.
All of us know that robots keep getting better at an incredibly fast rate. And I heard that there were more than a few very impressive robots at CES.
But as I told my dental hygienist this morning, I don't think she needs to worry about the robots coming for her job anytime soon.
The scene of the crime. (Thanks to Brett Schklar for the video.)
