Fiona Nugent

Fiona is a 2025 CU Boulder graduate with a B.A. in political science and a double-minor in business and Spanish. After finding purpose in environmental activism in high school, she discovered the power of local governance to create positive, meaningful change.

Fiona hopes to spend her early career exploring roles in campaigns, legislative offices, NGOs, and agencies that are pushing for social and environmental justice. She currently works in local government in Denver. 

Fiona is keenly interested in how AI will impact policy, education, and what it means to be human. When it comes to AI, Fiona considers herself a cautious optimist. In nearly all things, she is both an avid learner and a professional overthinker.
