Pics of the Week: Boulder Startup Week
Featuring more than 150 official events taking place over five days, Boulder Startup Week has once again streaked across the Front Range sky like a spectacular and fast-moving meteor shower.
If you attended even a few of the BSW events, you couldn't help but feel energized by the expertise of the presenters, the free-flowing exchange of ideas, and the enthusiastic conversations in the hallways.
It's safe to say that Boulder's startup spirit is alive and kicking - and primed for continued, long-term success. Think about it: What other city of 100,000 has such strong entrepreneurial DNA coursing through it that it can support a five-day startup week featuring 30 events a day?
Here are a few pics to celebrate the fact that Boulder is an entrepreneurial hotbed like few other places on the planet.
From the top left: Maureen Keating of Swytch Station at the RMAIIG Member Showcase; the "Building the Quantum Ecosystem in Boulder" presentation; and "The Renegade Way to Network" with Jen Morris.
Middle row: "Angel Investing 101" with Kevin Kudra of the Rockies Venture Club; live taping of the Creative Distillation podcast with Stan Hickory, Jeff York, and W. Bradley Werner; and Brad Feld delivering "The Boulder Thesis" at Rosetta Hall.
Bottom row: "Investment Syndications" with Natalie Levy; and "The Fall of Social Media and the Rise of Community" with James Pelz.
Many thanks to Dan Murray and Jen O'Neil for their contributions to the photos above.
